Strictness of Britney’s Parents

Osama Lufti and Alli Sim at Paris Hiltons’ Birthday party. I'm wondering if Paris invited them. No doubt so people will 'talk about Paris's birthday.' This kind of crap will just make Britney more desperate to get out and go 'hang with her so called friends'. Paris sucks - but I’m glad to see Britney has just been staying home. I really hope her parents stick in there long term and don’t just give up after a week or so. I still think Britney should pack her bags and go to a nice relaxing place to heal - there is an awesome rehab place in Australia called THE SANCTUARY where they rent out mansions so no paparazzi ever know WHO is in rehab and the places look out over the sea with dolphins and whales swimming and you get your own counselor, acupuncturist, nutritionist, trainer, massage therapist - have your own pool etc it apparently has 90% success rates which is MASSIVE for rehab. GO there Brit - or somewhere else away from LA in beautiful nature to heal properly!

Britney in my Thoughts and Prayers

Britney needs privacy, as much as I’m addicted to reading about her. The only way she is going to recover is if she does it away from the spot light. Hopefully the city of LA passes that proposition on preventing paparazzi from getting too close. It MAY help with this madness that goes on around her. I really do hope you get better soon before we have to start mourning her in death like all the other people lately who have passed. LOVE YA BRIT GET BETTER!!!! I know prayer works so I will keep praying for you.

Finally, Britney's home... Now, she's safe;-)

Almost 12 hours after being released from her court-ordered hospitalization, Britney finally returned to her home behind the gates of her private community. And what had at first appeared to be headed for another classic Britney night of hotel-hopping and driving aimlessly until sunrise was brought to a quiet end after the intervention of her father.

Britney Spears is all over Los Angeles with Paparazzi following her

OK! magazine recounts the timeline of events.

- Around 5:20 pm PT, Britney and Adnan visit the office of Spears' new attorny, Adam Streisand, hired to contest the conservatorship the court instated over the former pop star.

- Around 7:00pm PT, Britney managed to sneak out of Streisand's office building and return to the Beverly Hills Hotel! According to a source, a paparazzo from Adnan's photo agency, FinalPixx, snuck them out of the building by hiding Adnan and Brit under a black blanket in the back of his car.

- Back at the Beverly Hills Hotel, several of the police who were there earlier remain on the grounds as do a number of bodyguards who are keeping watch in the hotel's parking garage.

- Shortly before 9:00pm PT, Brit's father Jamie Spears arrived at the Beverly Hills Hotel. According to eyewitnesses, Jamie talks to the hotel's concierge and waits in the lobby. "He looks very tired," says one witness. "It looks like he just wants someone to help him out."

- A few minutes later, Jamie was approached by the concierge and a pair of men who may have been plainclothes police officers or hotel security officials, who led him to a private conference room, where Brit's father showed them what appear to be legal documents. Sources says Jamie is likely asking for the hotel's cooperation in getting his daughter back to her home.

- Around 9:20pm PT, more police arrived at the Beverly Hills Hotel and begin gathering in the lobby, outside in the valet parking area and upstairs on the second floor of the hotel, where Britney and Adnan were holed up.

- At 9:30pm PT, Jamie Spears entered Britney's room with what is believed to be legal documents in his hand. Meanwhile, down in the hotel's private parking garage, a number of hotel guards are kept watch on Brit's Mercedes.

Britney Spears can't legally hire the new lawyer, Adam Streisand

Brit Brit met up with lawyer yesterday, presumably to try and fight the conservatorship established by the court which gives her dad and an independent attorney control of her life.

Unfortunately, Spears can't legally hire the new lawyer, the courts have decided.

A publicist for Streisand just give the following statement to the media, explaining what has happened:

"At the request of Britney Spears, Adam Streisand, a Partner at Loeb & Loeb LLP, met with her yesterday to discuss her legal rights in connection with the conservatorship over her person and estate. Following that meeting, Mr. Streisand learned that the court had issued orders that prevent Ms. Spears from retaining counsel of her own choosing, and on that basis, Mr. Streisand has decided he will not represent her at this time."

She looks like a very good doctor to me, one who cares more about her patients than about how she looks when the stalkerazzi post her picture on their lame gossip sites. Her hair is "did," as one of you fruitcakes wrote earlier.

These are real people, not actors who play a doctor on tv. She's the one who had enough sense to know that Britney would only be safe in the hospital where she could be protected and get some real help.

I can't tell you how horrified I would be to find that my daughter was in the clutches of some shyster, shady character who wormed his way into her life and finances. I'd have been making a lot of public noise before this time.

Limiting Paparazzi because of Britney?!?... about time!?

This was my idea several years ago. Please rush this legislation through. Enough already. Chief Bratton is either blind or refuses to protect the stars that make this a fun city.

Britney in Psychiatric Ward for additional 14 days

Sources close to the star said... "Britney will remain in a hospital psychiatric ward for an additional 14 days".

Doctors and a medical officer at the ward of UCLA Medical Center determined that she should remain, said the source.

Britney had been committed on Thursday for a 72-hour hold for evaluation.

The news just keeps getting better and better in Britney's world! Britney's father is now in control of Britney's estate, etc. It's about time!!! They should have stepped up and did this along time ago but atleast they finally did something GOOD (?!) for her!!! Get well Britney, we love you and we're praying for you!
